Solar maintenance, cleaning and inverter repair in Peshawar
A solar system needs very little looking after, but the little it needs decides how much it generates. In Peshawar the biggest avoidable loss is dust: a neglected array can give up around a tenth of its output, and rinsing the panels with plain water every couple of months in dry weather recovers it. The part that actually fails is the inverter, and we repair inverters at board level in our own Peshawar workshop, on every major brand including ones we did not supply, with technical support available 24/7.
Cleaning the panels
Rinse with plain water every couple of months in dry weather, early in the morning or late in the afternoon rather than onto hot glass at midday. Do not use detergent or a stiff brush, and never walk on the modules.
Compare generation month with month, not with the brochure. Output is lower on an overcast day and on a short winter day, so set this January against last January rather than against June. A sudden drop on a clear day is the thing worth calling us about.
When output drops
Dust, shading, heat and a tripped breaker explain almost every complaint about generation. Check the panels are clean, that nothing new is casting a shadow across them, and that every breaker in the solar circuit is on, before anything else.
If those are fine and output is still down, call us. We check the strings, the connections and the inverter's own fault log, which usually points at the cause within a visit.
Inverter repair
The inverter is the part that does the thinking and the part that usually fails first. We have repaired electrical equipment in Peshawar since 1998, and we repair inverters at board level rather than replacing the whole unit: troubleshooting, component-level repair, firmware updates and preventive maintenance, with genuine parts so the repair lasts.
We repair the major brands, including units we did not supply. Bring the inverter to the workshop or ask us to collect it; because the repair is done here in Peshawar, a fault is usually a visit rather than a unit posted away for weeks.
Warranty and upgrades
On systems we installed, warranty claims go through us: five years on the inverters we supply and twenty-five years on panel performance. We deal with the manufacturer on your behalf.
As your use grows we can add panels, add batteries where the inverter supports them, or upgrade the inverter. A daytime inverter cannot charge a battery, so adding storage to one means replacing it; we will say so before you spend anything.
Maintenance and repair: questions we are asked
How often should solar panels be cleaned in Peshawar?
Every couple of months in dry weather, with plain water, early or late in the day. Dust is the largest avoidable loss in this region and can cost around a tenth of a neglected array's output. Avoid detergent and stiff brushes, and never walk on the modules.
Do you repair inverters you did not install?
Yes. We repair inverters at board level on all the major brands, including units we did not supply, with genuine parts. Bring the unit to our Peshawar workshop or ask us to collect it.
Why has my solar output dropped?
Usually dust, new shading, heat or a tripped breaker. Clean the panels, check nothing is shading them and check every breaker in the solar circuit. If output is still low on a clear day, call us and we will check the strings, connections and the inverter's fault log.
Is technical support available outside office hours?
Yes. Technical support is available 24/7. The office is open Saturday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm, for visits, quotations and bringing in equipment.

- Why your solar output drops
Dust, shading, heat and a tripped breaker explain almost every complaint about generation. How to tell which one you have before calling anybody.
- What size inverter do you need?
Inverters are sized by the load running at once, not by your monthly units. The arithmetic, including the startup surge most people forget.
